Hi everyone! I am so excited to be the Editor in Chief and President of The Summer Street Times this year. Over the past three years I have loved finding ways to contribute to the club. During my freshman year, I started contributing mainly photos of sports to the newspaper. In the past two years, I went outside my comfort zone and began writing and ended up loving it. I was able to write articles on various topics from the presidential election to a review of a local restaurant. Newspaper club has been such an amazing creative outlet with so many opportunities to offer. Even if you don’t think writing is your thing, I highly encourage everyone to stop by a newspaper meeting this year and try it out.

Outside of newspaper I play tennis year-round and play singles for Medway. I also have been doing photography for all of high school and am a part of the Boston Globe High School Photographer program. This summer I was a student intern for the Millis Medway newspaper where I was assigned multiple articles each month and got to go speak to various people. I am looking forward to this year with The Summer Street Times and hope to get some great stories published!
