We’re living in an era of pop stars who can dance, sing, and perform many concerts. Among all the many stars, Tate McRae stands out to me. Tate McRae is on the top 40 charts and brought her “Miss Possessive” tour to TD at Boston MA, August 26 and 27 of 2025. My first Tate McRae concert was the 26th of August and it was the best night of my life. Getting to belt out my favorite songs in an arena of flashing lights, smoke effects, and most importantly Tate singing and dancing was the highlight of my whole summer. There was something so endearing about a bunch of people singing out loud and celebrating this experience together.
Tate received fame as a dancer at 14 years old, before she even started her music career. Who knew a girl so young could achieve this much! By the time she was 15, she started writing songs and posting to YouTube. Before you know it, she’s selling out at the arena and creating three studio albums.

At TD in Boston, I vividly remember the stage exploding into smoke and red light visuals when Tate first came on. Immediately she started dancing, and I was amazed how one person can dance and sing so well at the same time. Throughout the concert, she changed her outfits numerous times. They varied anywhere from a long dark dress, to a small top and shorts. It was truly stunning the way she made her concert and her outfit changes throughout, flow so effortlessly.
At the concert McRae played her 2023 hit “Think later,” a song she does not perform often. The song consists of lyrics that fittingly say, “met you at a night out in Boston.”. She sang this for us; she sang this for Boston.
Its safe to say Tate McRae’s concert did not disappoint Boston. I would definitely come for another night and I recommend this concert to everyone. In fact, go listen to Tate’s most recent album “So Close to What (Deluxe)” to get the full experience of McRae’s virtuosity. You’ll thank me later!
