That is the last thing we heard about this for around two weeks. After that everyone was watching the college football national championship game where the commercial aired publicly for the first time and they even tagged her username in the commercial. To buy a commercial for the national championship game in college football can cost around one million dollars. So for Dr. Pepper to take Romeo’s theme song and turn it into a commercial with such a short lead time, it’s wild. It goes to show you how the little things that someone posts for fun to make someone else laugh can become so popular that the whole world sees it. The 11 second video that Romeo posted on TikTok now has over 115 million views and is just going to keep growing. Romeo benefited from this commercial immensely making an alleged two million dollars for the jingle when she gave the rights over to Dr Pepper. Romeo’s life has changed for the better with one 11 second TikTok and now she is famous all over the internet. It goes to show everyone that if you just put yourself out there good things will happen to you but it might just take time.
