On Tuesday Night, the Girls Basketball team faced Old Rochester Regional in the MIAA round of 16. The Stable was packed and ready to support the team. Medway’s Anna Freeman faced one of Rochesters’ players in the tip off and was able to get the ball to Medway. From that point on, it was a battle until the end. After the first quarter, Medway led 12-7, both teams showing both strong offensive and defensive efforts. After the half, Rochester began to creep up ending the quarter with Medway leading 25-23. During the third quarter, Medway scored 14 points, Old Rochester scored 7. The fourth quarter had the Stable, parents, and players on the edge of their seat. Medway led the majority of the quarter before Old Rochester scored during the last few minutes putting them ahead by 1 point. The final score of the game was 44-43 (Old Rochester).

Although the season came to an end we would like to congratulate the girls Basketball team on an amazing season, and wish the seniors the best of luck in the future.
