On October 20th, the annual National Honor Society Induction was held at Medway High. It started with a video detailing what the National Honor Society meant to some individuals and how they could make an impact. Afterwards, the administration talked about the importance of youth involvement and welcomed the joining members. The club’s leadership then talked about the four pillars of the National Honor Society–leadership, service, character, and scholarship– and how the pillars collectively called for high action. An overall theme from the speeches was impact, and how, no matter the size or duration, true impact can be made by anyone. Once certificates were awarded, everyone was brought to the foyer to enjoy refreshments and take photos.
