Oviya, Harshanth, and Aadhavan receiving the Marilyn H. Conley Volunteer Service Award.
This past Thursday, October 9th, 2025, the Medway Village Food Pantry hosted their annual volunteer celebration at the historic Thayer House. During this event, 19 volunteers were presented with the Marilyn H. Conley Volunteer Service Award for their outstanding contributions to the food pantry. Each volunteer given the award completed at least 100 hours of service between September 1st, 2024 and August 31st, 2025, displaying an incredible amount of dedication and compassion. Of the 19 volunteers honored, Aadhavan Sivakumar, Harshanth Balamurugan, and Oviya Sivakumar were the three Medway High School students celebrated for their commitment.
The commemoration was a cheerful and inspiring night filled with the Medway community and State Representative Jeff Roy. Executive director of the Medway Village Food Pantry Susan Dietrich presented each award with unwavering affection and a kind word for each volunteer. The annual celebration not only brought fellow volunteers together, but it also served as a reminder of the impact of community and volunteer service.
